In an attempt to organize my craft supply closet..or as Mr. Sparklepants likes to call it my ‘crap’ closet, I have been collecting boxes with lids to stuff with whatever suits my fancy. I have a box for sewing supplies, a box just for adhesives, painting supplies..you name it.
Originally, I was going to cover the boxes with fabric or some fancy paper, like I did with the magazine holders, but these boxes get moved around a lot and used pretty frequently so I needed something more durable. Like magic, I opened my box of adhesives and there is was..white duct tape!
Using white duct tape, brown paper packing tape and colorful washi tape and a pair of scissors I set to make my craft supply boxes pretty and coordinated.
The duct tape adds great texture and the washi tape is in my favorite colors, aqua and orange.
Love it!
The boxes look amazing. I love the colors and patterns of the tape! Visiting from TT&J.

Hi Jessa, love this idea with the boxes and the tape…maybe I could put some shoe boxes to use. Also thanks for stopping by my blog!
How fun!!!
What a quick, easy way to make them pretty! And durable too!
Pretty! If only I had the energy to make my craft closet so beautiful and organized. Until then, mind if I just drool over yours?

What a fun idea!! Love the tape you used! I wish they would have a greater choice (and less expensive..) of washi tape here in Germany.. 🙂
Thank you so much for linking up to {nifty thrifty sunday}!
I hope to see you again tomorrow!
