It's so tasty to fuel yourself after a tough workout with this Coffee Almond Protein Shake!

There is nothing I find more refreshing than sipping on a protein shake after a tough workout or a long, sweaty run. I like to make my shake ahead of time and stick it in the fridge, so I can grab it after my run and sip while I stretch. I also love myself some coffee drinks. You know, the ones blended with ice and coffee and flavoring and a ton of sugar that you get at the coffee shop. Of course there is not much in terms of nutrition in those drinks. This Coffee Almond Protein Shake tastes very similar to those sugary drinks at the coffee shop, but contains much less calories and has protein to fuel your body.

EAS® 100% Whey Protein has 30 grams of protein per serving, which is the ideal amount the body needs for recovery after a tough workout. Plus, the protein is pure whey protein, which means there’s no proprietary blends or less-than-pure blended ingredients, so you can digest it quickly and easily. Plus there is no added sugar or fillers. Very important stuff if you are trying to take great care of your body!

EAS 100% Whey Protein

EAS® 100% Whey Protein is easy to find at Walmart, with the other protein supplements. If you use Ibotta you can save $3.00 here.

I always have cold-brewed coffee ready to go in the fridge, because when the need for coffee strikes I must fulfill that need immediately. Of course you can use brewed coffee that is cooled down, or make some instant iced coffee (unsweetened of course.) And don’t be afraid to use decaf if you don’t want the caffeine, the flavor is still amazing! Be careful when adding the almond extract, a little goes a long way.

  • 8 oz cold coffee
  • 2 scoops EAS® 100% Whey Protein Powder in Vanilla flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Blend all ingredients together. Pour into a cup and enjoy!

This is my favorite protein shake, what is yours?

P.S.  Be sure to check out the New NBC Show S.T.R.O.N.G where EAS® products will be featured on the June 2nd episode. (9pm EST 8pm CST)

Sweet coffee drinks are my weakness. This sounds just as good, but packs a punch with all that protein!

Yum! I love that you don’t even need to add milk or anything since the protein helps with that!
