Do you have all the Christmas Bar Cart Essentials you need for entertaining this Christmas? Here are some ideas to keep your thirsty guests happy!
Today is Day 4 of the 12 Days of Blogmas and we are all about decor today! Be sure to scroll to the end of the post and click to my other blog friends to check out their holiday decor ideas!
I should be calling the bar cart a “beverage cart,” because we use it more for just cocktails and mocktails. I keep the Keurig on it for my morning coffee and a quick hot chocolate for the kiddos. Also it’s a perfect spot to put snacks while girls are working on homework at the table.
If you saw my post on the black Christmas tree, then you saw that I decorated my bar cart with mini black trees and a tinsely black wreath. I love the glam look of the glittery black reflecting off the lights and the mini trees remind me of a little winter forest.
If you are entertaining during this holiday season, then you will want to have a nicely decorated and well-stocked bar cart. Here are some things to think about when stocking your bar cart…

The Bar Cart – I got my bar cart for a smoking deal at TJ Maxx, it was super inexpensive mostly because it had no glass. But glass is easy to have cut and it was well worth the extra work. Here is a similar one. There are so many options for bar carts but really a small table will do.
Drinkware – Do you want to use real glass or do you prefer the safety of plastic. Leave the red cups to the college crowd and go for something like these clear plastic stemless wine glasses. Or if you love glass stemware, go for it! Remember to get some wine glass writers, so that everyone can decorate, I mean mark their glasses. Also, make sure you have some festive mugs for the hot drinks!
Coffee & Cocoa – coffee and hot cocoa drinks are some of my favorite things during the holidays. I mean what is better than an Irish Coffee? Have your coffee and cocoa made to order with a Keurig. For the kiddos, might I suggest some hot chocolate with a splash of Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup. Or perhaps some coffee with some Irish Cream or use the Torani Irish Cream Syrup. Or even better, make a Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Martini! Don’t forget the marshmallows!
Cocktails and mocktails – Any holiday bar cart has the basics, vodka, rum, whisky…you know. Plus mixers, like lemon-lime soda, cola, club soda, tonic water, cranberry juice, orange juice or eggnog. Flavored syrups are always fun too! A cocktail shaker and an ice bucket are a definite must, as are some bar tools and a beverage tub.

Some people just want wine or bubbly. Make sure you have both red and white wine as well as chilled sparkling wine. Signature cocktails are always a fun idea. Have the recipe for your signature cocktail handy and make one for each of your guests. Don’t forget the garnish!
A pitcher for ice water is always good too!
Decor – My bar cart is decorated with mini tabletop trees, micro LED lights, a wreath and some more useful yet decorative items, such as cloth napkins or paper napkins, stir sticks, and towels to wipe up any spills.

Really well done! We have a bar cart that changes with the seasons, and Christmastime is my favorite for making it special. I’ve never seen the Torani Gingerbread flavor around here! I’ll have to hunt that down. I can only imagine how good it must be!
This all looks amazing! We don’t have our bar cart out this year with a little one learning to walk! I can’t wait to join this fabulous look next year! #yourwhimswednesday
I totally get that Sara! We have a little one that just started walking, but she doesn’t have access to the room with the bar cart…That would be a disaster!
