Back in November, I shared my gorgeous Tuxedo Black Christmas Tree from Treetopia. At first, I was completely nervous about having a black Christmas tree, but I ended up falling completely in love with it. It is decorated with shades of black, gray and silver ornaments, with clear one and crystals added in. The white poinsettias really add drama and how about that fun tree topper? Well Christmas is over and the gifts have been opened. I t’s time to transition to New Year’s Eve decor. All it takes is a few little changes and extra touches to get ready. While Christmas is centered around the tree, for New Year’s Eve the focus turns to the table and the bar cart!
The black table top trees from Christmas are still there, but I added a some fun Color My World Tinsel Globe LED Lights to add some color. I love the look of the oversized lights on the little tree!
Of course the main area for hanging out on New Years is the kitchen and dining area. So I decided to create a table centerpiece using a 30 inch pre-lit Winter White Wreath. In order to avoid the use of overhead lights on NYE, I added even more lights to the wreath.
These Sweet As Sugar Frosted Lights almost look like berries in the wreath! They really add a lot of light and the size and texture of the bulbs really works on the wreath. I added some crystal stars to the wreath to carry over from the Christmas tree in the next room.
In the center of the wreath I added a large glass vase and placed six Gemmed Up Pearl Beaded Ornaments. These ornaments are about 4 inches in diameter and are really stunning. They glitz and the texture really add glamour to the centerpiece.
At night, the centerpiece creates a ton of light, perfect for entertaining!
