Grey Goose Le Grand Fizz
- 1 ½ Parts Grey Goose Vodka
- 1 part St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- 1/4 of a lime
- 2 parts chilled soda water
Combine Grey Goose Vodka, St-Germain and lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Add cubed ice and shake vigorously. Finely strain into a chilled flute and charge with soda water.
I can’t get enough of the hint of citrus mixed with the elderflower liqueur, but I wanted to add a little more. Rosemary is one of my favorite herbs and I especially love it in cocktails, so I made a rosemary simple syrup and switched out the lime for an orange.
Simple syrup is an easy thing to make on the stove top and flavoring it is just as simple. For the rosemary simple syrup combine 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup of granulated sugar into a saucepan. Also, add in two fresh rosemary sprigs and let the water come to a boil and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. At that point, remove from heat and let the rosemary steep for approximately 30 minutes. Store in the refrigerator in a tightly closed jar.
