Making a chocolate chip cookie dough frappé is the ultimate after school treat! This recipe makes it so easy.
I am going to give credit to my oldest daughter for this frappé recipe, because she’s the one that created it. She keeps asking for coffee frappés whenever we drive by a coffee shop. I don’t really want to go down that road quite yet. I’m trying to remember how old I was when I started drinking coffee, and I want to say I was about her age…possibly younger. My grandma would pour me some coffee with breakfast, and then add a ton of milk to it. It was probably mostly milk, but I thought I was cool for drinking it. Eventually, there was less and less milk added, and now I don’t put any in.

Anyhow, so we were going through some stuff on the table and my daughter found a box of Torani Signature Real Cream Frappé Base that I forgot I had. She asked if she could make her after school snack with it and I said go for it. She then asks for coffee and chocolate. Um, why don’t you find something that’s not coffee, kiddo. We have a ton of Torani Syrups, so she pulled out this Torani Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Syrup. I let her do her thing and when I checked on her and tried her frappé, I realized she created her own little masterpiece!
The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frappé tasted just like chocolate chip cookie dough! She had thrown in chocolate chips and topped it with some whipped cream to be fancy and then told me that I should take a picture “for the blog!” LOL! I told her that we will next time, since I’m not sure a half empty glass of frappé would make for a good blog photo.

This was the first time I had tried the Torani Signature Real Cream Frappé Base and I have to say, it is delicious. It’s super creamy and doesn’t separate when blended with ice. So it’s meant to be used with espresso, but hey, I like to get creative! Torani has a Signature Real Cream Coffee Frappé Base that includes coffee and then the Signature Real Cream Plain Frappé Base that doesn’t. All I can say is that I’m hooked. Frappés all summer long!
