Confession time: I love my iPhone. I pretty much love it more than wine. and cupcakes. and breathing. So when one of my lovely Sparkletots dropped my iPhone 4 face down and shattered the screen, after only having it for a couple months, I cried. It was my fault for leaving it within reach of a two-year-old. It was also my fault that it was not wearing protection. I recently got the screen replaced and it works as good as new… 180 dollars later. I’ve learned my lesson. My mission today is to find a stylish..yet protective case/cover for my baby iPhone.
The Chilewich iPhone 4 case is classy and looks like it is pretty durable with black casing that would protect the glass screen from contact with the ground in case it gets dropped, $40.
I love the colors on this one from Kate Spade.
These Chrome Bubble Slider Cases from Hard Candy Cases are pretty fun and look durable. I especially like how shiny they are. They also have rubber strips around the screen for protection. $35 at Hard Candy Cases or also at Amazon.
The Classic White Do The Wave cover from Lilly Pulitzer has pretty much won my heart. Bright and happy and in my favorite colors..Yay! At $25 the price is okay. I couldn’t find any pictures of it from the other side, so it might not be as protective as say the Chilewich one appears to be.
This Black Wristlet Case from Michael Kors might just be the most practical one yet. It looks to keep the phone pretty well enclosed and there are slots for credit cards and such. After reading the reviews on the Apple site I discovered that the downside of this case is that there is no hole on the backside for the camera. I take lots of pictures with my phone and it might get annoying having to take it out of the case all the time.
So that’s what I’ve narrowed my choices down to. If you know of sweet ones that I missed, please let me know..
The chrome bubble cases look awesome. I hadn’t seen those. My case is a pink *speck–which I like…but now that I’ve seen thos bubble cases, I just may need to get a new one! 😉
