Spooky Lantern
This lantern has a creepy orange glow and is dusty with cobwebs and spiders. But the sparkly tulle bow makes it lovely. The rusty lantern is one I bought at a thrift store years ago, but lanterns are everywhere these days, all you need is to find one you love. If you want it rusty and old looking you can use a faux rust paint treatment, but that adds a bit of time to this project. So go for any lantern you’d like. Grab some of those cool battery powered micro LED lights in orange. I found these orange ones at TJ Maxx, but I’m not sure they still have them.
So open up your lantern and stuff in those little lights. Then tie a bow using sparkly, black tulle. I love using tulle for bows because it looks good no mater how crappy you are at tying them! The use the Stretchy White Spider Web and stretch some all over the lantern. Using the Glue Dots, stick the spiders to the lantern. Done!
Foiled Skull
This is one of my favorite craft techniques! All you need is a skull, some spray glue and some Deco Foil (I used silver, but there are a bunch of cool colors to choose from). The skull I used is ceramic, but I believe most material would work. Take your skull out side and lightly spray the whole thing with the spray glue. Let it dry for about 5 to 10 minutes until the glue feels tacky. This won’t work if the glue is still wet! Then take the foil sheet colored side up and lay it on the skull in small parts.
Rub the foil vigorously with your finger. Pull of the foil sheet. The foil will stick to all the parts with glue. Continue around the skull until you have covered all the sticky glue places with foil. I used about 3 sheets of foil (my pack came with 5). The more glue you use the more the foil will stick to your skull!

Cute ideas. Love your lantern idea. I have one just like it and may try to make mine over.
