Last month I created a printable to keep track of my goals. I stuck the goal tracker printable in my planner and thought about it a lot. In fact, every time I opened up my planner, which is often, it was a quick reminder on what I need to do to reach my goals. So how did I do? I did okay, kind of.

January Goals Recap:

Professional: My goal was to post 3 times a week. I didn’t quite make that goal, although I was close. I am going to continue with that in February, but add in at least one post a week on my other blog, Low Carb Delish. I’ve neglected that blog since November (NOVEMBER!) and it just seems to generate it’s own traffic. Which is slightly frustrating, because I really want to grow Sparkle. But the blogs seem to have a mind of their own. Keep on trucking.

Personal: My goal was to donate a bag of stuff per week. So I changed this a little, because some of the stuff I want to get rid of needed to just go in the trash. So I did donate, but threw out stuff too. I still need to do more. In fact, I need to get the kiddos on board with this, because they are the ones with too much junk for sure. Hit me up with any ideas on how to get the kids involved with this.

Creative: My creative goal was to letter every day. Now I did practice lettering daily, but I didn’t always post it to my Instagram like I wanted to. So I will work on that. I do a lot of lettering while in the school parking lot waiting for the girls to get out of school. It’s not ideal, but it works.

Fitness: Run or a Beachbody workout 5 days a week. This should be easy, but it wasn’t. I wish I could blame sickness or bad weather, but we have been super healthy this winter (knock on wood) and the weather has been awesome for me (chilly in the mornings and sunny in the afternoon, around 75 degrees.) So this was just laziness. I’ll own it. Time to step up!

February Goals:

Professional: I pretty much said this up above, but continue with three posts a week on Sparkle and at least one post per week on Low Carb Delish. Also, I plan to do at least one Instagram story a week.

Personal: Continuing with getting rid of stuff and the kid’s stuff. I also have a goal of increasing my water consumption. That has been a big issue for me lately, since I find myself reaching for coffee before water and I am definitely not hydrated enough. This will help me with my fitness goals as well. I have a printable here, to track my water consumption.

Creative: I love lettering and I want to develop worksheets to teach others to letter as well. It seems that there are so many different styles of lettering out there and I want to share mine.

Fitness: I recently heard a report on NPR about the health dangers of sitting too much. So a goal for February is to find a way to reduce the time spent sitting. This could include standing while doing computer work or hanging upside down on a jungle gym, I don’t know. I’m going to have to figure out a way to measure this, perhaps using my Apple Watch. If you have ideas, let me know.

If you want to stick this goal tracker printable in your Erin Condren planner, scale the PDF to 85%. To fit into an 8 x 5.5 Purple Trail planner, scale the PDF to 70%.
