The Adidas Avenue A March 2016box is Adidas’ first venture into subscription boxes. It is a quarterly box filled with high quality Adidas fitness apparel, which is curated by fitness celebrity. This Avenue A box was curated by Nicole Winhoffer, a NY based fitness artist.
I was nervous while selecting my sizes while signing up. In the past, Adidas shoes have run a little big on me. Plus, it’s hard to judge the sizes for clothes when you really don’t know what you are going to get. I was reassured when I saw that you are able to exchange items for a correct size after you receive the box. And when the box arrived, I was delighted to see that everything fit perfectly!
Pure Boost X Shoes – These shoes are different than any other shoes I wear for running or working out. The arch floats above the shoe and is designed with a women’s foot and stride in mind. I wore them around the house for a couple of days prior to running with them. I really enjoyed the way they make my feet feel. I felt like there was less of a pounding sensation on my knees with each step I took. Plus, they are super cute. I love the patterned laces. Read more about them here.
Kanoi Rucpack Dye Jacket – This jacket is very lightweight and is flattering on. The fabric is UPF 25+ sun-protecting! I love that there are thumbholes and that the pocket in the back is large enough to fit my iPhone 6.
Sport Bag – The Stella McCartney Big Sport Bag is a special welcome gift because it’s the first every Avenue A box. The bag is big, appears to be well-made and has lots of pockets. In addition to being a great gym bag, it will be great as a carry-on. I just adore the woodgrain motif in the fabric.
Supernova Bra – Mélange – I’m in love with the color of this sports bra and that the padded support is sewn in. A lot of the new sports bras have removable pads, which get all weird in the wash and never look right again. This bra offers plenty of support and looks great on!
Adistar Three-Quarter Tight – These black running tights are fantastic! Totally breathable, just the right length and they have a great, black-on-black, not obnoxious design. Love!
Overall, I’m in love with the Adidas Avenue A subscription box. The $150 price of the box initially seems steep. But the shoes alone retail for $120, so $150 for this box is actually a great value. I have a ton of running clothes, and it seems like I always am looking for more, so this box satisfies my need for at least a month or two.
