Happy Friday! Here are some things that got my attention this week:
This pillow from Dwell Studio for Target. It’s super cute and super affordable. If you don’t like the colors make your own using this tutorial from Autum at Creative Little Daisy.
It’s been really cold here.. it was 30° F when I left work before dawn yesterday morning. I know, I know, I shouldn’t complain since the rest of the country appears to be swimming in snow, but still, that’s cold for Arizona. Plus our heater decided to stop working this morning..so a nice cup of hot chocolate sounds delightful.
This Three-Chili Hot Chocolate on a Stick from Ticket Kitchen is gonna warm ya up from the inside out. Ticket Kitchen is a hot chocolate shop opened by Amber Lee of GiversLog. I was lucky enough to be one of her taste-testers before her shop opened and I can attest, this stuff is yummy! I might have to send some of these to my friends that are buried in snow.
These homemade marshmallows from Urban Comfort would go perfect on top of my hot chocolate. I really, really want to make some, but all the recipes require a stand mixer, and I just don’t have one in my cooking arsenal..yet.
I’m ready to think about warmer things, like spring.
I picked up this gardenia at Costco yesterday. Then I looked up how to care for it. I should have done that in reverse order, since it appears gardenias are hard to keep happy in Arizona. I don’t have the greenest of thumbs so it’ll be a challenge. I killed that Black Mondo Grass that I bought last year. The gardenia does smell really good, so I will do my best.
Have a great weekend kids!
