Ahhh! I got some happy mail this week in the form a the monthly subscription box. The PopSugar Must Have Box did not disappoint for May. This month’s theme is fitness, relaxation and health. Which are all things that I love. Who doesn’t?
THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS, MEANING IF YOU CLICK ON A LINK AND BUY SOMETHING I MAY RECEIVE A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE SALE AT NO COST TO YOU.
The May 2016 PopSugar Must Have subscription box arrived this week and it is awesome. This is the third month that I have received this box (read about my first box here and the even better April box here) and I am more impressed with each box that arrives. If you are unfamiliar with these boxes, the PopSugar Must Have box is a subscription box that sells for $39.95 (plus tax) that includes full size products valued at way more than that, and is delivered to your door each month. Keep reading to find out what I got!
Gaiam – Foldable Yoga Mat ~ I have owned other Gaiam products before, most notably the Balance Ball Chair and we love it. It’s in the office and is quite comfortable to sit on while working, so I appreciate this high-quality brand. I love the foldable yoga mat. It takes up much less space than the ones I currently use that roll up, but it also seems to be thinner. I will probably still use the roll up ones for a while, since I have concrete flooring and I layer two mats to make post-run stretching more comfortable. $24.98 (on sale at Gaiam.com for $19.98 plus you can use Ebates for 2% cash back.
Spongellé – Spongology Body Buffer ~ This body sponge is infused with body wash and is supposed to last for 20 washes. It comes in a Milk & Honey fragrance and the Lavender and Eucalyptus fragrance that I received. It smells great and feels great on the skin. $20
Kocostar – Foot Therapy ~ This stuff is amazing. It’s like a peel for your feel. When you unwrap it looks like plastic bags with gel inside. You slip your foot in and leave it on for and hour and a half. Once done you rinse off the gel and wait. Over the course of a couple days the rough foot skin will start to peel off and reveal smooth baby like skin. This is perfect for summer sandal and flip flop wearing. I feel like my heals are like sandpaper within a week of wearing flip flops around and the summer is long here in Arizona. I might need to stock up on this stuff. $10
Bluma Project – Capri Bracelets ~ These beaded bracelets are so delicate, I’m almost afraid to wear them. The colors are blue and gold, which are perfect summer colors and I love the little tassels. The bracelets are handmade by artisans in Guatemala and have 24k gold beads on them. Plus they come in a very sweet little fabric bag. Very cute! $44
Happy Spritz – Breathe Deeply ~ This is a face and body mist and it smells good. Like eucalyptus and peppermint. It’s made of 100% essential oils and is supposed to invigorate and soothe you at the same time. I just think it smells good and feels good when sprayed on my face. I might keep it in the fridge for the ridiculously hot summer days coming up soon. The bonus part is that a portion of the proceeds of the product purchase goes to benefit animal rescue. Yep, I want to rescue all the animals. $25
Jimmybar! – Peanut Butter Clutter Jimmybar! Clean Snack Bar ~ You know it has to be good when there’s an exclamation point at the end of the name. This bar is gluten-free and dairy-free and has no artificial ingredients. It’s sweetened with dates so there is no sugar either. I didn’t try this one because I have an aversion to peanut butter right now, but the littles said it was good. That works! $2.49
Special Extras
This months box came with three items that are considered bonuses. I’m not exactly sure if the items are sponsored items or what makes them special extras.
Hint Kick ~ Hint Kick is a beverage with 60 mg of caffeine. Just enough for an extra little boost. It has zero calories. Basically it is like unsweetened infused water with a little kick of caffeine. You know I love infused water, like my jalapeno cucumber lime infused water. So this will be perfect for that little boost I need when I am at work. $1.69
Revlon – Volume + Length Magnified Mascara ~ How did PopSugar know that I need a new mascara tube? This mascara is part of the NEW Revlon mascara collection. This Volume + Length Magnified has a square brush that is supposed to achieve long and thick lashes. I’m always excited to try new mascaras since I’ve been using the same Diorshow mascara for a while now. I do love it, but it’s good to try new things. Plus the Revlon is one-third of the cost of the Diorshow. $10
Half Hitch Goods – $10 gift card ~ This cute little shop offers high-quality, gifting goods that are very unique. I’m not sure ten dollars will go to far in this shop, but there are plenty of adorable items. $10
