Use adhesive vinyl to create this motivating Mind Over Miles sticker for your water bottle to keep you motivated on those long runs.

It been quite a while since I’ve ran in a race, so I get myself back out there I signed up for a 10k. I have this tradition that I buy myself a new outfit for every race, and this time I bought a new water bottle as well. This one is nice because it has a hand strap and it’s not so irritating to carry.
Of course I felt the need to add some customization to my new water bottle to make it mine. The phrase ‘mind over miles’ looks cute and is a good reminder that I can do hard things, especially during those moments that I want to stop running. I love this little mind over miles sticker.

I used a matte removable white vinyl for the background, and a transparent green star on top. I love the way the transparent vinyl looks on a white background, I feel like it really lets the color of the transparent vinyl shine through. Then I used the craft gloss midnight for the words ‘mind’ and ‘miles’ and the Pink Melon Ultra Metallic vinyl for ‘over.’

For the stars, I chose to use Funky Stars file, that I found in the Silhouette Design Store. Then create an outline of it and then separate the two. The outline will be the white vinyl, the star will be the transparent green.
For the words ‘mind’ and ‘miles’, I chose the font Wheat from the Whisky font family, that I also found in the Silhouette Design Store. Lastly, the word ‘over’ is in a script font. Be sure to weld the letters together when using the script font.

Once all the vinyl is cut out, used the weeding tool to get the little pieces out of the words and then the gridded transfer tape to layer the designs on to the white background. I love using the gridded transfer tape for all my vinyl crafts. It really makes a difference in making lining the designs up way easier.
